Herbal. If you have a life threatening illness and it requires technology to keep you alive, I'm sorry to tell you that you'll likely die. We can set broken bones, do some minor surgeries that aren't life threatening, do blood transfusions the old way (although blood typing is harder) and a few other minor things that aren't invasive and life threatening.

Surgical procedures are rare and X-Rays are non-existent in our new world, as is FaceTime, Wikipedia and the rest of the technological world. Only small, shielded and heavily protected facilities run by former agencies of various world powers have any real capability of performing life saving techniques. These places are all but impossible to get to and impossible to get into.

Mutants with any type of healing abilities are highly sought.
